What is the Ventolin Evohaler used for?
The Ventolin Evohaler helps in relieving asthma symptoms like shortness of breath, chest tightness and wheezing.
How quickly does Ventolin Evohaler work?
Ventolin usually begins to work within a few minutes and helps open up airways to make breathing easier.
Can I use the Ventolin Evohaler every day?
Ventolin is not intended for frequent use. Using Ventolin more than twice a week could indicate poorly controlled asthma symptoms, and doctor’s advice should be sought.
How should I clean and maintain my Ventolin Evohaler?
After removing the metal canister and cap, rinse the plastic casing with warm water at least once a week. Reassemble only when it is completely dry.
When needed, inhale 1-2 puffs directly into the lungs, with each puff delivering 100mcg of salbutamol.
As an aerosol device, the inhaler dispenses the medication into the lungs, requiring a steady breath in without pausing, followed by a 10-second breath hold.
Use Ventolin up to 4 times daily unless there's an emergency.
