When you inhale Salamol through the mouthpiece of the inhaler, it delivers a precise dose of medication directly into your lungs.
The active ingredient in Salamol, called albuterol (or salbutamol), binds to beta-2 receptors in the smooth muscle cells lining the airways.This binding action triggers a series of biochemical reactions that result in the relaxation of the muscles, opening up the airways and relieving asthma symptoms such as wheezing and shortness of breath.

While Salamol is generally well-tolerated, it may cause some side effects in some individuals. These may include:
Headache
Nervousness or tremor
Rapid heartbeat
Muscle cramps
Dry mouth or throat
Nausea
Remove the cap and shake the inhaler well.
Breathe out fully to empty your lungs.
Place the mouthpiece at the bottom of the inhaler and hold it upright.
After positioning the mouthpiece between your teeth, enclose it with your lips.
To exhale one puff of medication, press down on the canister and take a deep breath through your mouth.
To enable the drug to go deeply into your lungs, hold your breath for around ten seconds.
Breathe out slowly and softly.
If you need to take another puff, wait for thirty to sixty seconds.
To lessen the possibility of adverse effects, rinse your mouth with water after using the inhaler.
